Unfortunately, there are still some services we couldn’t include as part of your subscription to our Mentorship Program only because there are fees involved that we cannot avoid. HOWEVER, NONE of these are absolutely necessary to get your book completed, published and marketed. We include them here so you’ll know about them in case you decide you would like any of them.
Professional Book Cover Design. Designing Book Covers other than using the Kindle Cover Creator or Microsoft Powerpoint, are extra cost because we have to contract them out to professional cover creators.
Cost: Individual Quote for professionally designed cover.
These can cost up to $2500 and usually include 3 cover designs. We will get a formal quote for this and you can then make a decision about this. The cost must be paid before we proceed with the contract for the new cover. An Invoice will be supplied to you.
Copyright Formal Application
Cost: $95
Publishing your book provides a simple copyright and this copyright notice should be stated in the book. We will provide the exact wording you need for this copyright notice.
If you want something more formal including a document showing your copyright, we will apply for a formal copyright for you. This must be done BEFORE the book is published and may ALSO delay the publication of your book.
You can, however, apply for this yourself with the US Copyright Office at a current cost of $35. Our price includes our time in completing the application and tracking it through to completion.
Payment in advance is required before the order will be placed. An Invoice will be supplied to you.
ISBN (International Standard Book Number)
Cost: $165
Our Mentorship Program uses the Kindle Direct Free ISBN as part of our book publishing. This limits the publishing to Amazon. However, your book can be made available on other sites such as Barnes & Noble, BooksaMillion, etc. without the extra cost of this Universal ISBN. We’ll automatically do this for you when setting up your book in the Mentorship Program. Our stated cost above is to apply for one Universal ISBN. This gives you the possibility of publishing on more than just Amazon. Our advice is to use the free ISBN from Amazon. Then, if your book is doing well, buy a Universal ISBN, so you can publish it directly on other platforms.
You are free to purchase a Universal ISBN but the cost of a single ISBN is reflected in our cost. Check the following website for more information about purchasing an ISBN number. bowker.com. If you are planning on publishing more than one book, Bowker has specials for buying more than one. An ISBN is required for all printed books but not for ebooks. You would have to supply this number to us before the book could be published.

Book Marketing USING Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaigns. (Our Mentorship Program includes marketing by other methods but not Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaigns)
Cost: minimum $100 per Pay-Per-Click Campaign. The cost of PPC is not for us but for the advertising itself. We do not profit extra by your use of PPC.
Design a Pay-per-Click (PPC) Campaign on Amazon, Google and others as identified.
Additional minimum of $100 for each PPC Campaign must be provided before the campaign will be defined.
Book Index (may require extra time on our part and extra cost on your part)
Cost: Possible extra month or two to prepare the index for your book
This is not the Table of Contents which is a normal part of almost every book. The Index goes at the end of the book and provides a detailed alphabetical listing of subject matter in the book to help people find what they are looking for more easily.
Many books do not require or need an index. Usually only textbooks or other long detailed books will need an index.
Indexing a book requires a considerable amount of work. While we will produce an index if necessary or requested, please be aware that if you need to have the book indexed, it may delay the final publishing date of the book.
While there is no direct extra charge for this in the Mentorship Program, your cost may increase because of the amount of time the indexing may take, i.e. you may have to pay an extra month or two.
